Year 2

Year 2 is a very important year as the children prepare for their end of Key Stage 1 SATs. SATs, or Standard Assessment Tests, are used to tell teachers how well each child is progressing. There are six tests in all.

Children take SATs in:

  • Reading
  • English grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Mathematics
