Our Prefects

At Blowers Green Primary School, we are proud to appoint a team of Prefects each year to act as positive role models for our school community. Prefects are chosen from our oldest pupils who consistently demonstrate our school values, show responsibility, and lead by example.

What do Prefects do

• Support staff in promoting a safe, respectful, and happy school environment.
• Welcome visitors and represent the school during events.
• Help younger pupils in the playground and around school.
• Assist with assemblies and special occasions.
• Share pupil voice by listening to ideas and concerns from their peers.

Why become a Prefect

Being a Prefect is an important leadership role that helps pupils develop confidence, communication skills, and a sense of responsibility. It is a chance to make a real difference in our school community.

How are Prefects chosen 

Prefects are selected through an application and interview process. We look for pupils who:

• Show excellent behaviour and attendance.
• Demonstrate kindness, respect, and teamwork.
• Are enthusiastic about helping others and improving our school.
