The Castle Museum

How many schools have their own museum? Well, this one does! Many of the exhibits are made by our talented pupils and others have been donated over the years. It all brings history to life for our pupils who not only have lessons in there but also act as curators when visitors come round.

The Castle Museum is an outstanding on-site learning area. From the timeline on the wall outlining all the past monarchs of our country, to a selection of period costumes, to a Morse Code machine, the Castle Museum is teeming with artefacts from all the major periods of History.

The artefacts are used to help ‘bring history to life’ for our pupils and is just another way we strive to provide the best learning experience for all.
